With the presidential election just a few weeks away, American politics are a hot topic for discussion. If you’re like me, however, it’s hard to pretend to be informed when you’ve done absolutely no research beyond looking at political memes on Instagram.
Trying to watch the news is an exercise in cynicism. It’s no secret that most major news organizations are heavily biased, and trying to sort the facts from the spin is rarely worth the effort. This is why millions of Americans turn to alternate sources for political information… like Pornhub?
According to a report from Pornhub Insights, searches for the presidential candidates have spiked since both parties officially announced their representatives. Cool!
Our favorite statisticians used information from Google Analytics to determine the gender and age of their otherwise anonymous visitors and used these trends to determine which candidate is popular with a given demographic. Their findings were certainly interesting.
Despite his recent short comings in the polls and questionable campaign strategy that has even long time Republicans doubting his policies, Trump is by far the most popular candidate when it comes to who you want to look at when you masturbate.
Breaking things down by gender it appears Trump is the more popular search among women while Clinton is handily more popular with men. While this makes biological sense given that the majority of the world identifies has heterosexual, finding out Trump is a GDILF and Clinton is on the verge of setting off a pantsuit fetish is somewhat shocking.
Looking at the ages of people searching, it’s clear that masturbating to political porn is a young person’s game.
Searches for either candidate are more likely to be done by someone aged 18 to 24 and quickly decline with age with one glaring exception. People aged 45-54 are %62 more likely to search for Hillary Clinton indicating a fascination with the gray-haired goddess among younger baby boomers. Curious.
