One of my favorite things to do at this time of year is drive around the town I live in looking at all the lights. We live in a fairly affluent area of Jersey (thank the gods for affordable housing!) and some people must quadruple their electric bill, I swear. There are a few houses that have the entire yard decked out with those crazy blow up things, and even snow blowers.
There was a conversation happening online where some of the people in town admitted to hiring professionals to set up their holiday extravaganzas. I mean, on one hand, I totally understand that putting up lights for public consumption for a month and a half is a bit of a bitch…but are you seriously that hard up that you’re hiring professionals to take care of your light display?
I kind of wish that I had that kind of extra money just laying around waiting to be spent.
You know if everyone is participating in something fun, someone is going to be a perv and make the situation hilariously sexual, right? That’s basically human nature and why I spend most of my time smiling.
A man in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada has found himself in just such a situation.
Years ago, he planted three bushes in a triangle shape on his front lawn. Two of the bushes started spreading outwards while one of them grew straight up. The bushes have been made reddit famous once people started realizing that they definitely resemble a set of balls and a dick.
The owner of the bushes took it one step further this holiday season by decorating his fancy bushes in lights. He strung white lights around the tall bush and blue lights were laid down over the small bushes…so it basically looks like he’s got a cock with blue balls announcing the coming of Christmas.
I mean…this is hilarious and I wish that I lived closer to Kitchener. I’d be driving by that guy’s house all the damn time to take perverse pictures with the shrubbery, especially now that it’s lit up like a Christmas tree.
