Abbi Jacobson Is A Huge Fan Of The “Broad City” Pegging Episode

And you should be too. Seriously, if you haven’t seen Broad City you should get on that ASAP. It’s one of the best comedies out there right now. The two leads, best friends Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer play best friends Abbi Abrams and Ilana Wexler and they are amazing.

The show started off as a webseries that gained the attention of Amy Poehler, among others, and was picked up as a half hour show on Comedy Central. You can still see the webseries on YouTube and I recommend watching them before you start watching the show, but it’s not a must, it adds to the experience, but it’s not like you’ll be lost to what’s going on if you don’t.

You’ll immediately fall in love with Ilana’s character, but Abbi will eventually grow on you and when she does you won’t be able to get enough. The same goes for her hunky neighbor Jeremy. At first, you can’t get over how awkward their conversations are when they bump into each other in the hallway, but eventually Abbi will be strapping on a dildo and pegging the guy.

Abbi’s dildo dance is the best.

Recently, Abbi Jacobson went on record saying that the pegging episode is her favorite:

“I think the pegging episode is the best episode we’ve ever done. … We wanted ‘Abbi’ to finally hook up with Jeremy because we’d been showing this pining forever and we were like, Why save this? We knew they were going to get together and then [pegging] came up in the room and once it did, we were just all like, Yeah.

It was very delicate because no one ever pitched it as it’s the joke that he’s into pegging. We were very careful because we didn’t want it to be misconstrued that that preference is looked down on. It was more in the aftermath that he’s so particular about his [dildo].”

It’s true, they did a great job getting the laughs from the way that Jeremy was so particular about his dildo and not about the fact that he enjoys getting a dildo up his butt. It’s was all very sex positive and hilarious at the same time, which we definitely don’t see enough in mainstream comedy.
