I watched the Game of Thrones season 7 finale last night and I’ve got all the feelz. Obviously, this post is going to contain major spoilers, so if you haven’t seen the episode yet, you might want to close your eyes right now. RIGHT NOW, I said.
It was finally confirmed that Jon Snow is the legitimate son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, which means he is not a bastard and never was. It also means he’s the heir to the iron throne and that Daenerys Targaryen is his aunt.
In true Game of Thrones fashion, this information was divulged just as Jon and Dany were getting it on for the first time, you know, because they’re in love and will probably make little silvered haired babies together. Or will they?! What will happen to these two lovers once they learn the truth about Jon’s parentage?!!!!!!

If Cersei and Jaimie can have babies together, so can Jon and Dany. I mean, Cersei and Jaimie are twins, which is a much closer blood tie than Jon & Dany who are just nephew and aunt.
And frankly, this is Westeros we’re talking about… If a bastard turned heir to the throne can’t marry his aunt, what’s the world come to?
There’s only one season of Game of Thrones left and we’ll probably have to wait two years before it actually airs on HBO, so that gives us a lot of time to pretend like Jon and Dany will live happily ever after. I’m gonna watch their love scene over and over again and pretend that true love lasts forever.
