Hunting for threesomes is an art. There are so many couples out there that think that a group sex situation is their ultimate fantasy. Before you dive head first into group sex, you’re going to want to do some thinking.
I think that one of the questions lots of couples don’t want to face is why they are looking to expand their relationship with a threesome. Are they looking for some adventure? Do they want to be the center of attention? Could they be bored with sex as per usual and looking to dabble in something new and exciting?
All of these are reasonable questions to ask, but before you dive in, I’m going to suggest that you check your dynamic.
Is your partner the type of person that gets jealous if you hang out with your friends solo? Group sex can get very heavy sometimes. People have an idea in their head about how hot it will be to watch their partner playing with someone else, but when it comes down to it, sometimes the best threesomes happen when the three people involved don’t have any kind of a deep, emotional connection with each other.
One thing that you also should reflect on is whether or not you are good with multitasking. Can you be fucked and perform oral sex at the same time? The worst thing that often happens in threesomes is, “Odd person out,” syndrome. If you can’t multitask yet, I suggest you start practicing. Both being able to give and receive pleasure at the same time is vitally important to group sex sessions, as far as I’m concerned. You’ve got to make sure that everyone in the room is being entertained, otherwise your threesome just turned into a voyeur/exhibitionist situation, which is also fine and sexy…but it doesn’t make for a satisfying threesome.
In the article linked below, one of the people who is interviewed mentions that the best threesome she ever had was with a guy she had only seen a few times and another woman that he was seeing. The other woman was going to be leaving for France in a few days so it was an impulsive, let’s have drinks and see where this goes, rather than adding another partner into an already existing situation.
I totally agree with this way of thinking. In 2001, I had about 45 threesomes with different couples. Note the word couples there. I hunted through Craig’s List, found people who wanted a unicorn who ate pussy and I did what I needed to do to convince them to fuck me. I learned so much about relationships and myself that year…and I realized that I don’t really think that odd numbered group sex situations are for me. There’s too much jealousy within most relationships and too many feelings that can get hurt, including my own.
