One of the coolest things about sex being my favorite hobby is that I’ll never finish learning. There is ALWAYS some new goal in my mind to figure out how to top my last orgasm session, whether it be solo or with my wife. Since everyone’s body is different, replicating sensations can be difficult, but it’s always fun to try.
Lola wrote about PornHub’s new Sex Ed Site a few weeks ago, and I’ve already sent the link out to a dozen of my friends. Who doesn’t love information about how to do the deed better (or even just differently)?
All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church in Columbia Heights, Washington is getting in on the sex ed game too. Actually, the Unitarian Church has been doing this since the 60s in one form or another. They call the program “Our Whole Lives,” or OWL for short. No matter your age, they have a program ready to roll to school you on a few things. They don’t care if you’re 90 and widowed or 20 and letting your hormones take control of your life. It’s refreshing to hear that the church has been helping out their members for decades.
Though I’m slightly pissed off with myself that I just discovered it.
This isn’t Creationism wrapped up in a bow, Peepz. It’s anatomy and learning how to properly communicate with your partner. When you’re able to talk openly about your desires with someone you’re into, it’s much easier to get what you want.
Healthy bodies, healthy mind, healthy sexual appetite, healthy parish, I guess.
Back when I was all “churchy” and confused about how to live my life properly, talking to someone older than me who had some experience (and wasn’t trying to get in my pants) would have been very helpful. As it was, I ended up getting kicked out of the parish I grew up in because I was “questioning my sexuality” and I ended up heading down the long and winding road of kink, perversion and eternal happiness.
I’m glad it worked out like it did, I swear. If I hadn’t been kicked out of my church, I never would have met my BFF who gave me an excellent foundation in BDSM…and I would have never worked at the porn shop, or started making videos on Xtube…or been able to write for a living.
Everything happens for a reason.
Have any of you Peepz had any experience with sex ed in your church? Let me know in the comments because I’m hella curious.
In the meantime, here’s a clip from PornHub that may teach you a thing or two about a thing or two:
