Are you Peepz into that show The Americans? I’m obsessed with it, and I’ve been clinging to the edge of my seat ever since last season ended. I kind of wish that they could just make some TV shows all year round…like a soap opera or something. I was perusing the Interweb and I found a story on Newsweek that talks about how the CIA used blowup sex dolls in their operations in Russia starting in December of 1982. They needed a way to get undercover operatives around town while their cars were being tailed by the KGB. After weighing all their options, they decided that blow up dolls were the way to go.

At the same moment, the driver would open a briefcase and, using technology which evolved into the airbags in your car, inflate a blowup doll so that the KGB car following them wouldn’t notice that there was now one less person in the vehicle. They decided to name the surprised looking plastic lovers/decoys Jack, as in Jack-in-the-box.

That’s some pretty amazing spy stuff.

It’s like the original blowup-doll-in-the-HOV-lane trick, only it was totally legal because the government was doing it.

Seems legit.
