I was catching up on what Skin Diamond has been up to on social media when I noticed that she changed her name to Raylin Joy and that she has re-branded herself as a lady crooner. I mean, singer-songwriter. Apparently, Skin Diamond’s IRL name is Raylin, which might explain why she chose that particular first name to rebrand herself, as for Joy, it’s no mystery that Raylin has been bringing joy to fans of her work for years, so that’s obviously a good pick.
Actually, Raylin Joy comes off as a really good porn name. Raylin sounds suspiciously close to “raling,” which everyone knows means fucking, and Joy, well Joy is self-explanatory. It’s like her parents knew the kind of joy she would bring to people with her good looks and flexible limbs.
As for Miss Mosh, my love of the original Lady Gaga has been well documented on Peeperz. She’s been a long-term favorite of mine and the fact that these two goddesses did a photoshoot TOGETHER is blowing my mind. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, I’m a little late to the uptake. This shoot is from a year ago, but holy shit it’s so good I don’t care how passé it is.
For some bizarre reason I don’t understand, this shoot was paired up with a Dave Navarro spread in Penthouse, even though he didn’t do the interview or take the photographs… pretty sure all he did was pick the girls and all of a sudden he’s a great erotica master. Dave Navarro is a douche, the ick factor flows from him in waves. Skin Diamond, however, (now Raylin Joy) and Miss Mosh are goddamn superheroes. They have someone escaped the doomed fate of being tarnished by their association with Navarro. The end.
