I love a good carnival. In Jersey, we mostly call them feasts because it’s all about the mother fucking food. When I was a teenager, I would go on the rides all night long. I loved the rush of being thrown upside down and tossed about the place.
Little known Harlot fact: I love bouncy houses. Whenever my siblings have parties for their kids, I’m always the first one there before the guests arrive to “help set up” and jump up and down a few times just for the hell of it.
A few years back, I wrote a Peeperz post about my birthday festivities when my bff took me to the Museum of Sex in New York City. We had an absolute blast the whole day but my favorite part, hands down, was bouncing around in the exhibit called Funland. Here’s a look:

A 35 year old woman named Melanie Abramov doesn’t think so. She is suing the Museum of Sex, as well as the bouncy house boob creators Bompas & Parr, because she hurt herself when she was enjoying the attraction back in 2014. Abramov says that one minute she was having the time of her life, and then next minute she had smacked her face on something extremely hard and messed up her nose and teeth so much that she required surgery.
When we went to the MoSex, there was a museum worker standing outside the entrance to the boob house watching us the entire time, making sure that nothing went awry. In my experience, the workers were very diligent in making sure that there were no shenanigans happening. The details of Abramov’s lawsuits haven’t been released, but I can only guess that one of the boobs deflated or something…because that entire room was inflated with fun when we went.
It totally sucks that she hurt herself and honestly, if I needed to get dental surgery because of museum outing, I’d lawyer up as well. I can’t help but be sad that a place that was such a good time for me ended up being such a terrible experience for someone else.
