I just came to the realization that for years now I’ve been confusing V Magazine with W Magazine and vice versa. I attempted to go through old posts and verify if I always referred to the right magazine, but I eventually gave up. There’s just too many fashion porn posts to go through. Let’s just hope I got it right at least most of the time and that this mix-up is just in my imagination.
Why the fuck would anyone name two magazine with names that are so damn similar?
Maybe it’s just me. My brain is feeling a little bit like mush today. I started writing about Ashley Graham, but I kept calling her Heather Graham. I might be in need of some food and a nap. Preferably in that order.
Anyhow, Ashley Graham and not Heather Graham posed in lingerie for V Magazine not W Magazine and the shoot is pretty awesome throughout. It’s got that voyeuristic-looking-through-binoculars vibe and the aesthetics are kind of interesting. When looking at this photoshoot, I kind of feel like I’m looking at some lost stills from a David Lynch movie and I don’t hate that feeling.
I like everything about this photoshoot except the Vulcan eyebrows in picture number eight. The best part is looking at the sequence and trying to figure out what the hell is going on, you know, exactly like a David Lynch movie.
