Coachella is an American music festival where for two weekends a year the Empire Polo Club in the Coachella Valley is transformed into a giant outdoor concert and art gallery. Like most music festivals with onsite camping, it’s also well known for the recreational activities that go along with them.
While most people travel to Coachella to see some of the world’s best music artists perform, a lot of them are there to get high and hook up with strangers.

During the two weekends, Palm Springs experienced an 8 and 9% increase in Pornhub traffic. That’s a lot of extra erections! Breaking things down into smaller demographics shows increases in visitors under the age 44, with a curious drop in traffic from visitors over the age of 55. Maybe all the half-naked young people flooding their communities were enough excitement already.
Coachella gets a ton of media coverage and as we’ve before, when something gets popular on the news people want to try and masturbate to it.
