A good friend of mine in college once got involved with an amateur photographer who paid her to do some basic modeling. Over the course of a couple weeks she was eventually talked into posing nude under the assumption it would lead to more lucrative work, but in the end the pictures were sold to someone else and her modeling career ended.
The whole ordeal barely fazed her. She was young, confident and thought the pictures were tasteful so she didn’t feel swindled or tricked. Meanwhile I spent the next eight years of my life trying to find them. They were my white whale- knowing they exist but not being able to find them was a slap in the face of my internet detective skills.
Still, it’s not an uncommon proposition for attractive college-aged women.
Bulletin boards around college campuses are full of flyers for people seeking models and there’s usually someone willing to take up the offer. For example, a woman from Pennsylvania was arrested after agreeing to pose nude for an amateur photographer, which isn’t illegal except they did it in the middle of crowded shopping mall. Whoops!
21-year-old Chelsea Guerra was posing for 63-year-old Michael Warnock on a Saturday morning in a portion of a shopping center in Monroeville, Pennsylvania where they thought no one could see them. Apparently that didn’t work out because a lot of people did see them, one of whom called 911.
When police arrived they found Guerra wearing nothing but a pair of high heels. According to reports, Warnock paid Guerra $300 to pose for the photoshoot and apparently ran out of money to budget a proper place to shoot because they picked a public area. She and the amateur photographer were promptly arrested.
The woman was charged with incident exposure and disorderly conduct and was released later that day. Meanwhile Warnock was charged with a few other crimes including narcotics possession and was freed after posting $500 bail. Guerra will hopefully walk away from this incident unscathed. She’s currently a university student with other employment and bright future.
Though Warnock doesn’t necessarily sound like a bad person, we at least hope he learns how to better manage his money. $300 is a lot to spend to see one woman naked. He could have done that for free on Pornhub and spent $300 dollars on 300 tacos. Life is all about focusing on the important things and ignoring trivial pursuits.
Now if you excuse me, I’m going to spend the next four hours searching the internet for nude pictures of a friend from college I haven’t spoken to in six years.
