My day job is knee deep in corporate America. I spend 6 hours a day on video conference calls discussing policy, people and reasons why we need to have more meetings. One of my biggest nightmares is thinking that I’m on mute when I’m muttering under my breath about someone else that is in the call.
I know better than to leave the camera on my laptop uncovered when I don’t want to be seen. Damn the man, save the Empire, I say. I keep my mic muted and my cam pointed at my face when it’s absolutely necessary. One other thing that I always do is check my background before I log on. A few weeks ago I was doing a tele-therapy session with my psychiatrist and I realized that my MASSIVE black plug (that is supposed to be a butt plug but I use it in my pussy) was directly behind my head. I knocked that fucking thing down so fast just as my doctor was signing in.
While I’m usually diligent about checking out all my shit before I log on, some people are much more careless and end up in less than ideal situations.
A Rio de Janeiro council meeting was side tracked when one of the staff members forgot to check their cam settings. In full view of the entire meeting, they started banging on a bed in the background. While the subject matter was supposed to be feeding school children, the Zoom presenters quickly fumbled for the mute button.
The four hour meeting continued as the council members decided to somehow ignore the fact that one of the video streams involved some hardcore banging.
Here’s the thing…there’s no shame in getting off while you’re supposed to be paying attention to work…but you really do have to be careful about things. Not everyone wants to see your bare ass grinding into some muff while you’re supposed to be discussing malnourished children, you know? Close your laptop completely so that no one is looking in on you (even the government…I don’t put anything past them) and THEN get down to business.
It’s not rocket science, Peepz. Pay attention to your cameras and make sure you don’t pop one off when someone is watching. Unless of course you have their consent and it’s something that you actively want to participate in.
