Camille Rowe is a legit model who has done campaigns for Dior, Louis Vuitton, Victoria’s Secret and many many more. Clearly, with high fashion names like that on her resume the bodacious blonde isn’t exactly lacking in modelling cred, which is why I’m incredibly surprised that she was named the Playboy Playmate of the Month for April 2016.
Usually, it’s the other way around. Young blondes wanting to make it big used to pose for Playboy in an effort to make it big, but now Playboy is recruiting chicks that already have a fulfilling career. I suppose this has something to do with the magazine’s non-nude re-branding.
Actually, I didn’t even know this was a Playboy photoshoot until I got to the last picture, which shows the magazine’s April 2016 cover. The whole time I thought I was looking at a random photoshoot from Purple or C-Heads Magazine.
So far, I like what I’ve seen from Playboy‘s re-design. I don’t know that it was necessary for them to go non-nude, but I do appreciate the new aesthetic. In particular, this photoshoot of Camille Rowe hits all the right spots for me. Picture number one really gets me going. Other favorites are pictures number four, nine, and ten.
Picture number eleven on the other hand is kind weird. Camille has a lovely backside, but this picture looks like it was pinched from top to bottom and it looks odd. I won’t hold it against Camille; I blame the photographer. Do you hear me, Guy Aroch? That weird squished effect is all your fault.
