Sometimes I come across pervy things that don’t really seem to be true. It’s kind of crazy what people can think up, but lacking follow-through and business sense can be a bummer when you finally come up with that million dollar idea.
Such is the case with a mattress that is being dreamed up by a mattress company called Durmet. They released a video for a new product they’re calling Smarttress. Basically, it’s a mattress that has sensors inside it. You can hook the mattress up to an app which will then alert you when “someone is using your bed in a questionable way,” as in fucking on it.
Now, here’s my thing. The bed that my girlfriend and I sleep in presently was mine from when I was single. When we moved in together, my bed was the “better” of the two, though it’s still fairly terrible. We’re not planning on upgrading our sleepy-time digs until we buy a house…and then we’ll make the upgrade to a king size bed.
When we go mattress shopping, we’ll go together. We’ll find something that works well for both of us and is financially within our means.
If I was an unfaithful spouse, why would I agree to buy a mattress with a “Lover Detection System” installed? Mattresses are fucking expensive. I’ve got to imagine that a mattress that can connect to an app is VERY fucking expensive. Why would you make such a purchase and then fuck on the bed when your partner isn’t around? Or, if you did decide to be a liar-Mc-Liar-Face and buy the mattress…why wouldn’t you just fuck elsewhere?
That’s like stupidity level 1,000,000.

All of this nonsense can just be avoided by having an open and honest conversation or two with your partner about your fantasies, wants and desires…remember that.
