Fair warning, spoilers up ahead for those of you who haven’t seen The Gift. I’m not kidding, you should stop reading right now if you haven’t seen this seminal classic about a psychic who gets embroiled in a murder investigation. Seriously, I’m about to reveal the killer any second now.
It was Greg Kinnear. That’s right, Mister Kinnear was having an affair with Katie Holmes and he killed her. Those creepy eyes hovering over the background of the header pic belong to Cate Blanchett the aforementioned psychic who eventually reveals the name of the killer. Yup, The Gift was a killer flick. Not only did it have a flawless plot, but it featured a young Katie Holmes showing off her boobs before Tom Cruise ever got his greasy paws all over them.
Oh, and what a rack we’re talking about. It’s pretty damn amazing. It’s a shame Katie Holmes hasn’t done more nudity in her career, a damn shame. Back in the early days, when Katie was known for her role as goody two shoes Joey Potter on Dawson’s Creek she was known to take on more risque movie roles in an effort to avoid being typecast.
Unfortunately, she eventually married Tom Cruise and then she was forced by all the evil Scientologists, or, you know, a publicist to re-brand herself as Kate Holmes the older more refined version of Katie Holmes and this new grown-up version didn’t do gratuitous nudity. It was a sad day for us all.
