Have you ever tried to even out your side burns while shaving and ended up going back and forth until there’s nothing left? In the process of trying to make sure they’re perfectly even, you might end up wishing you hadn’t messed with them in the first place.
This is probably how one woman from the UK felt after a series of botched breast surgeries.
Victoria Ewens is a very beautiful 24-year-old who was left with a case of biggie-smalls after her breasts failed to develop evenly during puberty. As a result this unfortunate asymmetry she was bullied throughout school and was forced to wear a gel insert to make her breasts appear even. After putting up with it through her adolescence, the National Health Service finally provided a doctor to correct the problem.
The surgeon told Victoria it would be as simple as putting an implant in her smaller breast and everything would even out. Unfortunately finding a fake titty to match a real one is no easy feat.
After the initial surgery Ewens’ breasts were still uneven and after three more botched attempts, NHS surgeons were unable to give her a matching pair of boobs. Victoria claimed at this point her breasts looked worse than when she had started as her breasts were misshaped and her nipples pointed in different directions. Yikes!
When the national healthcare system refused to attempt a fifth correction, Victoria finally sought a consultation with a legitimate plastic surgeon. However when she was told her breasts would require five corrective surgeries at a cost of £30,000, it looked like she would have weird boobs forever- and then something good finally happened!
A reality medical show called Botched Up Bodies found Ewens and put her in the care of top plastic surgeon Nick Percival.
The good doctor said developmental problems with breasts are fairly common and quickly recognized all the mistakes previous surgeons had made. He went on to replace the incorrectly installed implant in her left breast and repositioned the nipple on her right.
After a few months of recovery, Victoria finally had the symmetrical boobs she always wanted and stated she’s “looking forward to the future – really looking forward to it.”
