An Italian porn actor and director is starting an academy to teach aspiring adult film actors and actresses the tricks of the trade — and aptly names his training session “Porn University.”
Rocco Siffredi — nicknamed the “Italian Stallion” — will document his training in the reality show, “Universita del Porno,” to air in Italy, Perfil.com reports.
Classes will be in session on the set of “Siffredi Hard Academy,” in which the porn veteran will instruct a group of 21 hopefuls on different techniques and tactics on how to be a believable porn actor on screen.
Rocco Siffredi is the only person I can imagine opening up a porn university and documenting the process on a reality TV show without the whole thing turning into a huge joke. Long live Hard Academy!
- Pornhub makes it easier to report revenge porn (The Verge)
Pornhub, one of the world’s largest adult entertainment sites, has introduced a new feature that it hopes will make it easier for people to identify revenge porn and request its removal. In a press release published today, the site announced a new online submission form (NSFW) that revenge porn victims can use to flag any explicit videos or images that were published without their consent. Previously, revenge porn takedown requests could only be filed through email. […]
“It is vital that we continue to make our community feel safe,” Corey Price, Pornhub vice president, said in an email. “We want all Pornhub users to know that this new reporting process is for their security and peace of mind first and foremost.”
Pornhub cares.
- Nudes Are Old News at Playboy (NY Times)
Last month, Cory Jones, a top editor at Playboy, went to see its founder Hugh Hefner at the Playboy Mansion.
In a wood-paneled dining room, with Picasso and de Kooning prints on the walls, Mr. Jones nervously presented a radical suggestion: the magazine, a leader of the revolution that helped take sex in America from furtive to ubiquitous, should stop publishing images of naked women.
Mr. Hefner, now 89, but still listed as editor in chief, agreed. As part of a redesign that will be unveiled next March, the print edition of Playboy will still feature women in provocative poses. But they will no longer be fully nude.
Huh, I wonder how this is going to affect the popularity of the magazine?! Playboy definitely needed to change up it’s image, but who knows if this is the right direction. Nothing left to do, but wait and see.
